In my experience, the pdftk / exiftool have top functionality only for small and for simple-in-formatting PDF documents. These have been tested for small, medium size and very large PDF documents and found to have issues with the largest and most complex PDF documents. Add -overwriteoriginal to suppress the creation of backup files. I have used exiftool both at command line and through a graphical window. Here is an example of Using UDF to merge two JSON fields. If you have a mixtures, as I do, run both.įiles with extension in the json filenameĮxiftool -tagsfromfile %d/%F.json -ImageTag very_large_file_name_._foo-edi. exiftool -Title /path/to/files/ These commands creates backup files.

This causes each FILE to be rewritten, and by default the original files are preserved with 'original' appended to their names. In my testing, Ive seen two different formats for the json filename, some where it is and some where it is filename.json (no extension in the json filename). To write or copy information, new tag values are specified with the -TAG VALUE syntax or the -tagsFromFile or -geotag options. Exiftool – bulk join json with jpg from Google TakeoutĮxiftool now has the ability to do this as of ver 10.47.
